Temperature Sensors
Application:
Intrinsically safe temperature sensor type ICZT-2 is intended to supervise the temperature of devices components, as well as non-aggresive liquids: water, oils, oil-water emulsions etc.
The sensor cannot be used to control the temperature of aggresive media.
The temperature sensors type ICZT-2 meet the requirements of Directive ATEX 114 (2014/34/UE) of European Parliament and Council regarding rapprochement of legislation of European member states, for protective devices and systems used in areas in danger of explosion. It also meets the Polish legislation; the Ordinance of the Minister for the Development dated 06 Jun. 2016 (Dz. U. 2016 pos. 817) for essential requirements for protective devices and systems used in areas in danger of explosion.
Intrinsically safe construction of sensors allows to use them in excavations in methane and non-methane mines, in spaces marked „a”, „b” or „c” of methane explosion danger and in spaces classified as A or B of coal dust explosion danger.
Performance
Temperature sensor is equipped with bimetallic bistable thermostat. Under the influence of temperature, opens or shorts the sensor contacts, as a result closes or cuts the control loop of a device, where the sensor was adopted. Thereby the automatic stop of a device is possible, in case the permissible temperature exceeds its limits.
